Connecting an account
Open Connections in Forgemark and choose the account. Each one signs in with your own login on the platform's own screen, and you pick the site, property or ad account to read. Google Ads, Meta and Klaviyo each have their own button.
- Klaviyo connects whichever Klaviyo account is open in your browser. If you use Klaviyo for more than one business, open the right account first.
- Meta asks for a new sign-in every 60 days. Forgemark reminds you on Connections 10 days before.
Disconnecting, and deleting your data
- Disconnect any account on Connections, and the data read from it is deleted straight away.
- Uninstall the Shopify app, and your store's data is deleted within 30 days of Shopify telling us.
- To have everything deleted sooner, or for a copy of your data, email us. We reply within 30 days at most, as UK GDPR requires.
The pixel and the tag
They send nothing until a visitor accepts analytics cookies. If Forgemark says it hasn't seen visits yet, check your consent banner is on and accepts analytics, then visit your site in a private window and accept.
